I'm a retired technology professional and have worked for a major airline, oil company and a contractor specializing in large database engines. The main reason I'm taking the class is to pursue a hobby in art. I have never painted anything other than a house. This class has given me the knowledge to look at Art in a whole new perspective through the elements of art which include line, shape, texture, value and color.
